How it works in the app
Download Achman Guru and register
Enter your name, mobile number and email, then confirm the number with an OTP.
Choose "I am an astrologer"
Already an Achman pandit? Apply from Profile, under "Become an astrologer (chat consultation)".
Introduction and skills
A selfie or an avatar, your name, experience and a short introduction. Then pick your skills, languages and the topics you advise on.
Fee and payment details
Your expected fee per minute, your PAN number, the name on your PAN and your UPI ID.
Sign the agreement and send for review
Read the agreement in Hindi or English, sign by typing your full name, and send your profile.
A call from the team, then approval
The Achman team calls or messages you, settles your fee and approves your profile. Then you can go online and take chats.
What you will need
- A mobile number and an email address
- Your PAN card: the number and the name printed on it
- Your own UPI ID, showing the same name as your PAN
- A front-camera selfie (or one of the app avatars)
- Your knowledge of jyotish: your skills, languages and experience
- A smartphone with internet, and notifications on for the app

How you are paid
- The per-minute rate is set by the Achman team after talking to you. You state your expected fee when you apply.
- Your share of every paid minute is set at approval and shown clearly in the app.
- A user's first chat is free. You currently get ₹5 for it.
- Payouts go to your UPI every month, by the 10th of the next month. Under ₹500 carries over to the next month.
- Before the first payout the team checks the name your UPI shows.
A day in the app
- Go online or offline with one switch. Chats only come while you are online.
- A new request rings your phone, even with the app closed. See the user's question and kundli, and accept within 60 seconds.
- Consultations happen in text chat, with a timer. You can also suggest a pooja to the user.
- Users rate each chat afterwards. Good ratings bring you more users.
Consultation rules
These come from the Achman astrologer agreement, which you read and sign in the app.
- No contact outside the app: never give or ask for a phone number, WhatsApp, UPI or social media.
- No fear-mongering, no "100% sure" claims, no pushing costly remedies or gemstones.
- No medical, legal or financial advice.
- Answer requests while you are online. Three missed in a row switch you offline.
- Keep users' details confidential. Achman may review chats.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a fee to join Achman as an astrologer?
No. Downloading Achman Guru and applying are free.
I am already an Achman pandit. Can I also become an astrologer?
Yes. Open Profile in Achman Guru and apply under "Become an astrologer (chat consultation)". Both work from the same account.
Are consultations on calls or on chat?
For now, consultations are by text chat, with the user's kundli open beside it.
Who sets the rate?
You state the fee you expect. The Achman team sets the final per-minute rate after talking to you, and the app shows your share.
What happens after I apply?
Your profile goes for review. The Achman team calls or messages you, and the app notifies you once you are approved. If something needs fixing, the app shows the reason and you can correct it and send it again.
Can I change my profile after sending it?
You can change your UPI ID yourself in the app (the new one is checked again). For your name, photo or introduction, ask Achman Seva.
What happens if a user complains?
A 1 or 2 star rating on a paid chat opens a refund review. If the refund is approved, the fee for that chat is taken back.
