1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between you and Achman Rituals Private Limited ("Achman"). By visiting the website, installing the Achman or Achman Guru apps, creating an account or booking a service you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
• You must give accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login confidential.
• We may suspend or close an account that gives false information or breaks these terms.

3. What Achman provides

Achman is a platform that helps users discover and book independent pandits for poojas and sanskars, and offers digital content such as kundli, gun milan, rashifal, panchang, darshan and Achman Saarthi AI guidance.

Pandits are independent practitioners, not employees of Achman. Achman verifies their identity and credentials as described in the app but does not control how a ritual is performed. We are not a party to the religious or spiritual aspects of any ritual.

4. Astrology and guidance content

Kundli, rashifal, dosha analysis, gun milan and Saarthi responses are offered for guidance, tradition and general interest. They are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and we do not guarantee any outcome. Saarthi is an AI system and may make mistakes; please use your own judgement.

5. Bookings and payments

• A booking is confirmed when you receive confirmation in the app. Dakshina, samagri and any extra charges agreed with the pandit should be settled in the app before the pooja.
• Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated. Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways, whose terms also apply.
• You must be present, or ensure access to the venue, at the booked time. Delays or an unprepared venue may shorten or cancel the pooja.
• Cancellations and refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Services unlawfully or to harass, abuse or defraud anyone;
• deal with pandits outside the app to avoid platform fees for a booking first made through Achman;
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with the website or apps;
• upload content that is unlawful, hateful, obscene or infringes anyone's rights;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications (applies especially to pandits).

7. Additional terms for pandits

Pandits using Achman Guru must provide genuine identity and qualification documents, honour confirmed bookings, behave respectfully with yajmans, and accept that payouts are made after deducting the platform fee and applicable taxes shown in the app. Repeated no-shows, misconduct or false claims can lead to removal from the platform.

8. Intellectual property

The Achman name, logo, app, website, design, text, images and software belong to Achman or its licensors and are protected by law. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Services for personal use. All other rights are reserved.

9. Disclaimers and limit of liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Achman is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for the conduct of independent pandits beyond our obligations on this platform, or for events outside our reasonable control.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

10. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Achman for losses arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Services or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if required by law. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you may have. Please contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly without a formal dispute.

13. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the date shown above. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept it.
